PORTLAND MEADOWS, PORTLAND, OREGON
Saratoga girls capture team title at first
ever championship. Saratoga had been voted National
Champions 8 times since 1993, but now there is no debate.
And with a 51-125 margin of victory, the talk of greatest
team ever continues.
Fayettville Manlius boys finish 2nd to York,
Ill, who are coached by the legendary Joe Newton. A
team that seemed to rise from obscurity and gained National
recognition with their all time team time record at VCP, the
FM boys helped prove how good NY XC really is.
