Summer Day Camp Visits to The Armory

Run don’t walk to the famed Armory Track & Field, for a day of fun, games and learning on and off our cool Track with our new  Air Conditioning!  

Bronze Level

 

This level of visit allows campers (up to 30) to come have a guided tour through the inspirational and interactive National Track & Field Hall of Fame, and then take a run on “The Fastest Track in the World” and leave with a memento of their visit, in the form of a personalized certificate, signed by Dr. Norbert Sander, the president of The Armory Foundation, and only the New York City resident to have won the NYC Marathon.

 

Price $210 for up to 30 visitors and $7.00/per camper and $5.00/per adult after 30.

Length of visit- 1- 1 and ½ hours.

  

Silver Level

 

This level of visit allows campers (up to 30) to come have a guided tour through the inspirational and interactive National Track & Field Hall of Fame, and then take a run on “The Fastest Track in the World” and leave with a memento of their visit, in the form of a personalized certificate, signed by Dr. Norbert Sander, the president of The Armory Foundation, and the only New York City resident to have won the NYC Marathon.  In addition to their run, the campers may also choose two of the following events to try during their visit:

 
  • 55 Meter Dash
  • Shot Put
  • Long Jump
  • Indoor “turbo” Javelin
  • Relay Races
 

Price $350 for up to 30 visitors and $12.00/ per camper and $5.00/ per adult after 30.

Length of visit- 2 hours

  

Gold Level

 

This level of visit allows campers (up to 30) to come have a guided tour through the inspirational and interactive National Track & Field Hall of Fame, and then take a run on “The Fastest Track in the World” and leave with a memento of their visit, in the form of a personalized certificate, signed by Dr. Norbert Sander, the president of The Armory Foundation, and the only New York City resident to have won the NYC Marathon.  In addition to their run, the campers may also participate in all of the following events during their visit:

 
  • 55 Meter Dash
  • Shot Put
  • Long Jump
  • Indoor “turbo” Javelin
  • Relay Races
 At this level the campers will also have an opportunity to meet a Gold Medal Olympic Track & Field Star, Derrick Adkins, who will lead their “mini track meet.”  

Price- $450 for up to 30 visitors and $15.00/ per camper and $5.00/ per adult after 30.

Length of visit- 3 hours

  

Possible add-ons:

 

Lunch:  We are able to arrange a healthy “picnic lunch” and a space to eat, at an additional charge. No charge should you wish to bring your own lunch, we can help arrange a place to have your lunch.

 

T- shirts- with two weeks notice, at an additional charge.

 Details 

Transportation:  The 168th Street Station (A/C/1 trains) is located one block from The Armory Foundation.  The #4 Bus stops in front of The Armory Foundation.  Should your group be using a private bus service, we will need to discuss drop off/pick up arrangements.

 

We are happy to accommodate large groups (even up to 1000) with two weeks notice.

 

Signed contracts and payment, in full, are required one week prior to visit date.
