Boys
Phil Feinberg (Corona del Sol, Tempe, Ariz) won a spirited high jump competition from Grant Lindsey (Mansfield, Texas).
It was the first indoor competition of Feinberg’s career – not so surprising when you live in Arizona – and he made the best of it, jumping 7-1, a personal best and the best jump of the year nationally.
Lindsey, who has a career best 7-2, went 6-11¾. Andy Kahl of Cicero North-Syracuse was 3rd at 6-8 ¼.
Girls
At press time Friday night, the final results of the high jump were not known. These results will be posted as soon as they are made available on Saturday.
