·        Brian Rhodes-Deavy (Guilderland, NY) – DNR in ’04, running very well, strong 15:08 last weekend at McQuaid, has run 1:52 for 800m and 4:13 for the mile

·        Charles White (Garden City, NY) – 13:27 in ’04, NYS Freshman record in the mile last year with 4:16, 2nd at states last year as freshman

·        Alex Bean (Somers, NY) – 13:06 in ’04, undefeated this season, ran 12:42 last weekend at St. Anthony’s, 7th at states

·        Robert Krause (Connetquot, NY) – 13:14 here last year, 11th at states last year

·        Ben White (Liverpool, NY)  - NY State Champ 1600m 2005, mile PR of 4:11, ran 13:21 here last year, placed 2nd at McQuaid Invitational in 15:05, ran 13:21 here last year

·        Jake McAndrew (Oswego, NY) – 1st McQuaid last week in 15:22

·        Colin Heenan (Liverpool, NY) – 9:37 track speed – ran 15:26 at McQuaid last week

·   Fayetteville-Manilius, NY - NY#1 – US #2, NYS Fed Champs 2004, 2nd at NTN to the famed York, ILL., set team average record for VCP and MXCI with 12:48 average, won with 15 points here last year,

·  Morris Hills, NJ - NJ#1, US#9, NE#5, 2nd at the NJ Meet of Champs last year

·  CBA (Lincroft, NJ) - NJ#2, NTN NE#2, US #5 – won the NJ meet of Champs last year, the most storied team to ever run at VCP with 18 guys who have broken 13:00 all time. One of only 55 schools to have an “All Time Top 5” average under 13:00. (CBA is 5th best all time VCP at 12:43)

· Flagler-Palm Coast (FL) – 14th last week at the FLRunner.com Invitational in a loaded field

· Cranford, NJ - NJ#11

 

INDIVIDUALS

  • Tommy Gruenewald (FM) – Won last years race in 12:42, was 36th at Footlocker, 9th at NTN, 6th at NYS Federation
  • Owen Kimple (FM) – ran 12:49 here last year to place 2nd.  Was 36th at NTN and 14th at the NYS Federation, running 16:06 at Bowdoin Park.
  • John Herron (FM) – ran 12:51 here last year at 4th man – the fastest 4th man ever at VCP.  Placed 34th at NTN and 15 at NYS Federation
  • Andrew McCann (FM) – ran 12:54 here last year as FM’s 5th man, the fastest 5th man ever at VCP.  Placed 18th at NTN & 7th at NYS Federation

·        Chris Horel (CBA, NJ)  - ran 12:58 here last year to place 6th, 5th at the NJ MOC in 2004

·        Greg Leach (CBA, NJ) – ran 13:16 here last year

·        Kevin Rogers (CBA, NJ)  - 14th at the NJ MOC in 2004

·        Kyle Soloff (Morris Hills, NJ) – ran 13:18 here last year but ran 12:57 here 3 weeks ago

·        Jayson Decker (Morris Hills, NJ) – 9th at the NJ MOC in 2004

·        Justin Harbor (Flagler-Palm Coast, FLA)  - won the FLRunners.com meet last week over strong field in 15:26.

·        Shenendehowa, NY – NY#5, 1st school to ever average under 13:00 at the meet,

·        Bishop Hendricken, RI -  2nd place last year here and at the RI State Champs, perennial RI powers with much history here at Manhattan.  One of only 55 schools to have an “All Time Top 5” average under 13:00.

·        Lockport, NY – NR

·        Hatboro, PA – 9th at Class AAA States last year, 4th place here last year.

·        Washingtonville, NY – NY#15-AA

·        North Rockland, NY – NY#17-AA – had two graduates place 1-2 here last year

·        Monroe-Woodbury, NY – NY#19-AA – Where the famous John Trautman went to HS

 

INDIVIDUALS

·        Dan McManamon (Shenendahowa, NY) – won his race last year in 12:43

·        Tom Webb (Bishop Hendricken, RI) – A Barrington, RI transfer who won the RI State meet last year by 28 seconds

·        John Haenle (Lockport, NY) – ran 13:02 here last year, 22nd at States last year

·        Colin McConnell (Bishop Hendricken, RI) – ran 13:09 here last year

·        Josh Hibbs (Hatboro, PA) – 10th at Class AAA states last year in 16:25, ran 12:56 here last year

·        Andy Clyne (Washingtonville, NY) – ran 13:24 here last year, has won races the last 4 weekends.


 

Boys Race E

TEAMS

·        Saratoga Springs, NY - NY#2, NE#2, won the Great American Invit two weeks ago.  Often over shadowed by the girls team, this squad is always one of the best in NY and this year could be one of the best in the Country.

·        Steve Murdock (Saratoga Springs, NY) – ran 12:50 here last year. 2nd at NTN 2 mile in 9:11,

·        Greg Kelsey (Saratoga Springs, NY) – ran 13:00 here last year, 8th at NON in Steeple, 3K Steeple PR of 9:27,  26th at States last year in XC.

·        Greg Kiley (Saratoga Springs, NY) – 26th at Great American this year

·        Andy Bangert (Saratoga Springs, NY) – 13:38 here last year

·        Drew Hart (Ithaca, NY) – 13:52 here last year but racing very well right now
