Henning Does it Again
The 70th Eastern States Championships opened with a sensationally humongous bang and finished on a note of amazing deja-vu.
Early Tuesday afternoon, before most of the cast of the Easterns had filed into the Armory Track Center, St. Anthony's senior Walter Henning sent the 25-pound weight into previously unexplored, national-record territory beyond the 86-foot mark.

Lane broke school, County, Section, meet and Armory records in one race and also leapt 19'07.5" in the LJ missing the Section 1 record by a 1/4 inch.

Nia Ali (Pleasantville, NJ) 7.89 55HH
Ali took down the oldest Armory meters record from 1997 with her blazing fast 7.91 time.

Colts Neck, NJ junior Craig Forys anchors DMR with 4:05.7 1600m split, one one of the fastest of all time for anyone HS runner much less a HS Jr.
